On October 28, 2019, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas held a final hearing on a historic agreement to put an end to Harris County’s unconstitutional bail practices.

Withdrawal of Intention to Hire

Almost four months after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) first issued notice of fines ranging between $300,000 - $500,000 to seven women living in sanctuary in churches across the country, ICE has withdrawn the fines.
