Hilda Ramirez and her son Ivan won’t be deported, Austin Sanctuary Network announces 2nd victory

(AUSTIN, Texas) — The Austin Sanctuary Network will formally announce that after eight months of living in Sanctuary at an Austin church,  Hilda and her son Ivan have gained an affirmative deferred action decision from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, putting a stop to their deportations. For the first time since Hilda arrived in the United States Hilda and her son Ivan will be able to walk freely in the United states without the fear of being deported back to from her home and her community in the United States.
