Hutto Visitation Orientation December 10th, 2016

Saturday, December 10, 2016 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm
2301 E Cesar Chavez St

Please join us for a Hutto Visitation Program Orientation on December 10th from 2pm to 4pm, in our back training room at 2301 E. Cesar Chavez St. (the building is on the south side of our parking lot). Our main purpose for the program is to offer support for the women at Hutto, monitor human rights abuses and put an end to the silence of detention. Come talk to the women directly impacted by international affairs and immigration policies to hear their stories and perspectives. Gain knowledge and tools to begin visiting women who are detained in the T. Don Hutto Detention facility in Taylor, TX. Please pass along the dates to anyone who may be interested in breaking the isolation of detention. Please let us know you're coming, and RSVP here.

Is your building accessible? I have a chair to get around with and have signed up to come to the training/orientation.

We do have a ramp to the back room where the training is taking place. However, the restroom is not ADA compliant.

Have attended previously, but would like to get back up to speed after some time since my last visits. I'll be there for orientation on the 10th.

Thank you for doing this.

We look forward to seeing you Rodney.

I was very active in protesting the T Don Hutto center when they still held families there. I would love to take part in the visitation program. When will the next orientation session be held? Thank you.

The next one will be during the beginning weeks of January, which we will annouce probably in the new year.
