Our community deserves language equity in Harris County!

Our immigrant communities have powered our economy, provided essential services during the pandemic, and were even our first responders during natural disasters. However, our communities struggle to access critical social and health services because of Harris County’s lack of language access.

This week, the Texas Language Justice Collective has sent a powerful message to the commissioners court about the importance of accessing language justice for over 146 different languages and growing in Harris County!
